Tees Valley Partnership
Single Programme Delivery Plan 2004 / 2005

Project Title: Job Connect

Project Description:
It is the intention to expand the existing Job Programme established 8 years ago to include a Jobs Matching Service to the residents of Grangetown and Eston. The project will cover the full geographical area of the borough of Redcar and Cleveland. Currently there are a number of organisations offering a range of services across the borough, however services are inconsistent and in some cases inflexible. This project will offer a flexible support service to all jobless individuals across the Borough without the restrictions of eligibility and postcode discrimination. Training offered through this programme will be to match individual and employer needs specifically to address skill shortage areas and equip residents to access job opportunities in the 21st century.

Lead Organisation (underlined) and Key Partners:
Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, Job Connect, Routes to Employment, Wisegroup, Groundwork Trust, Reed in Partnership, Working Links.
