Tees Valley Partnership
Single Programme Delivery Plan 2004 / 2005

Project Title: Tees Valley NTI

Project Description:
Tees Valley NTI is part of a national network of New Technology Institutes established with capital support from the Higher Education Funding Council. It is a partnership between the University and a number of colleges and aims to increase the supply of people with technical and higher level skills in ICTS, both in the potential labour market and the workforce. It also aims to enable SMEs to adopt new technologies and related innovative business practices through a range of training and consultancy services. It is likely that the NTI network will become the training delivery arm of Codeworks, the Regional Centre for Digital Excellence.

Lead Organisation (underlined) and Key Partners:
University of Teesside, Darlington College, Hartlepool College of Technology, possible other colleges – discussions ongoing.
